When Babs and I got married in 1995, we said that at our 10th anniversary that we would renew our wedding vows. Well, on August 18th 2005, we will have been married for ten years! The other day, Father Stewart Wardell, the vicar for our parish, told us that he was doing a special service on 24th July for married couples to renew their wedding vows.
We were late turning up courtesy of the taxis, and we found Father Stewart waiting outside for us. He would not start the service until we got there. We went to St Martin's Church in Acrise. It is a beautiful quaint little church.
The service was lovely, and we could not thank Father Stewart enough.
Oh, and we just had to consumate the renewal didn't we. ;o
